Alexandria – Braddock Heights

Braddock Heights meshes a suburban flavor with established neighborhood qualities – an abundance of leafy trees, landscaped yards and well-lit sidewalks. It features a mix of styles of homes – bungalows, ranches, old farmhouses as well as newly constructed colonials – which is a result of many different builders developing the area in the 1930’s, 40’s and 50’s. Residents and guests alike are attracted to the uniqueness not representative of new ‘cookie cutter’ neighborhoods. Commuting is convenient by DASH bus or car – and less than a mile from Braddock Rd Metro. Considered dependent on a vehicle, there are many local restaurants, grocery stores and parks within a couple of miles.
